Graphs and Reports

The added value of using AuctionX2 becomes apparent after you have started to import your sales information from ebay. AuctionX2 provides an extensive range of Graphs and Reports all of which are driven from your filtered data in the main screen.

The following Graphs and Reports are provided.

  • Annual Sales Graph - the annual sales graph illustrates your total monthly sold items compared to unsold and currently listing items for the selected year.
  • Average Sales Prices Graph - the annual average sales price graph shows your average sales price, profit and total price for the selected year. This can be a useful guide to seasonal price fluctuations in your market.
  • Profit / Cost Bar Graph - this graph shows you the total profit against cost of your ebay sales for the filtered period of time. In this example all sales in 2009. Alternatively you could have chosen to look at this for sales in a particluar month.
  • Filtering Data For Graphs - you can also filter not only on Month and Year but also on Item Name and Number. For example you could generate a graph that shows the profit cost analysis for all items sold in the Category of Computing in 2009.
  • Overheads Bar Graph - this graph shows you the overhead expenditure for the filtered period of time. In this example all overheads in 2009. Alternatively you could have chosen to look at this for overheads in a particluar month.
  • Annual Profit Bar Graph - this graph shows you your total profit for the filtered year.
  • Annual Overheads Bar Graph - this graph shows you your total overheads for the filtered year.
  • Profit By Keywords Graph - this report analyses the keywords you have used to listed your eBay sales items. The graph shows the most profitable keywords for your filtered sales data and can be used to help you choose the best item descriptions for your listings to maximise profit.
As well as graphs AuctionX2 also produces a range of text based reports providing an invaluable insight into how to improve your business and make more profit.
  • Returning Buyers Report - lists and groups items that have been sold to the same buyer. Only when a buyer has purchased more than one item does the information appear on this report. This helps you to build up a list of loyal customers and focus on the types of items they are buying.

This report helps you to focus on listing your items to end at the time of day that attracts the most profit for example items ending at 7pm may do a lot better than those ending at 10am on any given day.
  • Profit By Day Of Listing Report - lists by each day Monday through to Sunday the profit made from items that ended on that day. This report helps you to focus on listing your items to end on the day of the week that attracts the most profit for example items ending on a Sunday may do a lot better than those ending on a Wednesday.
  • Profit By Pictures Bought Report - this report shows you for the number of pictures bought how much profit you have made starting with 1 gallery picture. This report will show you for example if using 6 instead of 1 picture of your items helps to increase your profit.
